A lovely holiday for everyone. Beautiful house and pool in a very attractive and interesting part of France. Great days out in Orange, Avignon, at the beach in Cassis and lots of lovely lunches all around. Excellent local wines - cave in village very helpful and friendly giving lots of tastings.

Seven American bikers from Pittsburgh, PA USA stayed at this magnificent paradise! Je t'aime la France! Wonderful views, incl Mt Ventoux. Spacious kitchen, dining, great rooms. We love it!
Wonderful house and weather. Superb setting! Do not miss Orange Roman Theatre and the "Devil Karts" on Mt Ventoux - brilliant for older children. Great centre for a holiday.

There is plenty to see and do in this area and we packed a lot in over the fortnight, but it is always nice to come back to The Apple Orchard for a dip in the pool. A lovely holiday in a superb property.

In Le Thor we enjoyed the friendliness of the village. A must - baguettes and croissant from the boulangerie in the main square - they were just delicious! Enjoy.

We have really enjoyed our stay here at The Apple Orchard. The villa is well arranged and all 11 of us were very comfortable here. The garden is beautiful and the weather has been amazing. We loved the area and took advice form this book and visited many of the places suggested by previous guests.

"Thank you for the great villa from where we travelled from Vaison la Romaine
to Rousillion, to Arles, to Pont du Gard and several places in between. We
enjoyed the pool and outdoor area with so many hot days.
We loved the markets, especially the ones in L'Isle-sur-la-Sorgue and Vaison
La Romaine. We loved being able to eat our dinner with the market food we
purchased in a great kitchen, eating inside or out."

We enjoyed our mini-vacation at The Apple Orchard and Peter and Audrey were
fantastic. Gordes is one of the most beautiful towns - very much like the
beautiful mountain villages in Italy. A restaurant in Gordes was one of the
best we have encountered. We had lunch at "La Bastide de Gordes & Spa"
Beautiful view - a bit pricey but worth every mounthfull.

The last two weeks have been absolutely fantastic! I think that it is mainly
due to this superb house. All the rooms were lovely and I especially love the
2 rooms downstairs with doors opening out to the garden. The pool has been
great as well and the strip of gravel by the side of the pool has been ideal
to play boules on. We hate to leave!

We have truly enjoyed our stay at The Apple Orchard. It is a beautiful,
restful hideaway in a lovely corner of the Vaucluse. Audrey and Peter, you
are kind and helpful hosts. Your children Troy and Ryan are a delight! They
are absolutely lovely children.
